People are eager to begin restoring their parishes. They are willing to meet in a field around a cross for Holy Mass and in many cases do. Some stand in the elements for weeks, months even years worshiping in the open, until a barn, or a building comes available as a makeshift church, then a proper building can be constructed. Our on-site assessments reveal that there are plenty of goods to be found, ample building materials, and an abundance of willing people to build. Funds, however, are in short supply. Without money building cannot start. Renovations come to a halt when financial support stops. Without your donations buildings stand unfinished and the people wait.

Traveling to the former Soviet Union since 1996 The President of Queen of the Apostles Mission Association, Matt Werner, and other members have been assessing the needs of the Church there. We at QAMA have discovered that the best way to serve the church in these war-ravaged countries is through prayer and collecting and distributing much needed funds.

We have established reputable relationships with many bishops, clergy and religious, who are able to accept wire transfers from reliable banks in outlying countries such and Poland and Germany. We follow up with periodic visits to the mission outposts we support making sure that QAMA funds are being used as assigned.

God bless you for your generosity.
